Diana Trinh

International Student Advisor and Events Coordinator
  • Profile
Diana joined the Office of International Education — now the Center for Global Engagement — in December 2011 and supports the University of Richmond’s international students by managing incoming exchange student applications, advising on J-1 immigration matters, and responding to inquiries from students, parents, and campus departments. She also plays an active role in planning and assisting with international student events throughout the academic year.

Diana earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond. Her experience studying abroad in Beijing, China, inspired her passion for helping international students navigate and adjust to life in a new environment. Having traveled to Hong Kong and Vietnam at a young age—and more recently to South Korea and Japan—she brings a personal appreciation for cross-cultural experiences to her work.

She is conversationally fluent in Cantonese, has some conversational knowledge of Mandarin and Vietnamese, and is actively working to improve her Vietnamese.

In her free time, Diana enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and exploring new restaurants around Richmond.
