Art & Art History in Copenhagen

May 18 – June 19, 2026 (five weeks)
Explore the city and make art for five weeks in Copenhagen, Denmark this summer!  Study Architectural History and an Introduction to Drawing in the beautiful city of Copenhagen.  Each course will cover a General Education/Web of Inquiry requirement (FSHT/AI-History and FSVP/AI-Visual and Performing Arts).  Syllabi, projects, and study tours for the two courses will be integrated so that you can observe and interrogate the built environment in different ways.  Class will be held in various parts of the city in addition to our home-base at DIS.  We will take advantage of museums, galleries, and the changing cityscape of the city to explore these two topics.  Study trips to locations in the capital region are planned.  Spend five weeks exploring this exciting and beautiful capital city.

Applications for this program will be available starting December 1, 2025.
